Caroline rang after she'd come home to find scratch marks around the cylinder of her 1990s uPVC front door. No entry, but someone had clearly tried to grip and snap the original Avocet euro.
Daytime call-out, on the doorstep within 30 minutes. Swapped the snap-vulnerable cylinder for a TS007 3-star Avocet ABS with two keys. Around 10 minutes physical work, 25 minutes total on site once we'd talked through what had happened. £90 plus the cylinder, kitemark photo for her insurance.

Locked out coming home from a work do. uPVC front, 1996 build, original key snapped off in the cylinder while Steve was trying to wiggle it open in the rain.
Out-of-hours rate, £170 all-in agreed on the phone. Non-destructive entry by picking the second pin row in under three minutes. The snapped half came out with an extractor, then we replaced the tired old cylinder with an Ultion TS007 3-star while I was on site. Inside in 20 minutes, dry by the kettle, two new keys cut on the van.

How a snap attack works (and why TS007 3-star resists it)
