How quickly can you get to me in an emergency?

For local jobs around south Staffordshire I aim to be on your doorstep within 15 to 30 minutes. For Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, Walsall, Birmingham and the wider West Midlands, allow 30 to 45 minutes. If I'm on another job I'll tell you straight away so you can decide what to do. Either way, you get a clear time, not a vague promise.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. There is no call-out fee at all. You only pay for the actual work needed to get you back in and any parts I have to fit, and I quote the full price on the phone before I set off. You will never get a surprise bill on the doorstep.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes. The phone is mine, not a call centre. Day, night, weekend, bank holiday, it rings on me. If I can pick up I will. If I'm mid-job I'll call you back the moment I'm free.

Will you have to break the lock to get me in?

Almost never. I use non-destructive entry methods (picking, bumping, decoding) wherever the lock allows it. Drilling is the last resort, not the first. If it ever has to come to that, I'll explain why and get your agreement first.

Are you insured?

Yes. I carry £2,000,000 of public liability insurance and I'm DBS-checked. Two things every locksmith you let into your home should have.

How can I pay?

Cash, bank transfer, or debit and credit card via mobile reader. Payment is on completion of the job, no deposit needed for standard call-outs.

What should I do while I wait for you?

Stay safe and stay warm. If you're outside in the cold or it feels unsafe, sit in your car or pop into a neighbour or shop nearby. Have some ID ready, I'll need to confirm you're entitled to be at the property before I open it.
